Do WWE pay royalties for Punk's entrance music?

They surely do. It's much cheaper to play on TV than it is on DVDs and videogames though. WWE are paying for it though; Limp Bizkit, Alter Bridge, Rob Zombie...nah!

Half hour left surely there's something big left I mean they have done all they can with title matchs build up.

A contract signing that went off without a hitch. Probably a first for WWE :)

This feud is getting worse by the week

Cause everyone who breaks and arm bounces around on it.

These arm-snapping angles just seem so phony. Unless you're Daniel Puder.

    The acting, it's soooo bad.

For a Christian, he sure takes the Lords name in vain a lot while selling injuries

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,136 ✭✭✭✭How Soon Is Now

Bit more interesting but still been very slow fued and I hate seeing lesnar run from hhh!!!

Lesnar better be winning this clean on Sunday

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

I was excited about Summerslam about six weeks back but they've gradually eroded almost all my interest. I might not even watch it tbh. Might just check the results the day after.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,136 ✭✭✭✭How Soon Is Now

I'm curious see hhh lesnar fight after that I'm not arsed. Need something big from this wat happened tonight was first thing of interest in pretty much whole fued since he first went at hhh.

Have they still not booked a World Title match for Summerfest. To be honest they found 3 or 4 people that cared about Booker canceling Del Rio's title shot. Thats 3/4 more than I thought cared.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,966 ✭✭✭Mr.Saturn

The more astute, longer-show hating observer will have noticed that not even HHH can do a full three-hour RAW....

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,469 ✭✭✭✭GTR63

Even by Diva standards this tag match is atrocious. No sign of Eve's Jew Zitzu

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,166 ✭✭✭Stereomaniac

Man, I thought Eve was able to do backflips and somersaults! She can do them in video games!

I downloaded Raw and it was 2:10, so almost one third of the show is ads!

I'm not a hater, but that was a boring enough show. Nice ending I guess.

Why did Lesnar beat up Ernie McCracken at the end of the show....oh wait that was Hbk. That makes sense.
Genuinely laughed at Lazer literally running away from HHH, this after Ernie tried to fear bumping into Lesnar for over 2 hours. Great job Game.
What was up with Piper, the Pit segment was worthless.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,888 ✭✭✭Charisteas

Really liked that ending and I cant wait for the Lesnar/HHH match at Summerslam. Hopefully will be made a no DQ or No Holds Barred match.

Does anyone know why Ryback was crying after he pinned JTG? Either a case of conjunctivitis or, complete guess work on my part, maybe he's really good friends with JTG and he knew that it was JTG's last match?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,116 ✭✭✭starviewadams

Piper/Jericho/Miz/Ziggler segment was painful to sit through, will be glad to see the back of Jericho after Summerslam.

    Enjoyed the Brock-HBK-HHH interactions.

Would've liked to see WWE at least give JTG a chance for a few weeks instead of just burying him.

Cena's take on Punk's running knee to the corner was hillarious!

Did Piper sound drunk to anyone else? Just rambling on and on about nothing and making very little sense. It's a shame considering how good Piper's Pit used to be.

Lawler introducing him was pure odd. It was like he was reminded him of the storylines then again I wouldn't blame Hot Rod if he didn't bother watching anymore.

The future of three hour Raws is starting to look more questionable.
WWE Raw on Monday was down to 2.84 rating for all three hours and 2.93 rating for the regular two hours.

    YAY!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,469 ✭✭✭✭GTR63

Reports on twitter is that it had something to do with Hbk's giant baldspot.
Delighted the rating was nearly as lousy as most the show was.

Laughed at JTG shouting how he'd better not get pinkeye.

Matt Fowler over at IGN had a good point about this episode of RAW, which I'm sure was pointed out before
And I know I shouldn’t be plunging down this rabbit hole, but...if the whole kidnapping and attack of HBK hadn’t happened, what was the plan to end the show? This is the weird s*** I focus on these days. The big match that AJ set up, between Punk, Cena, Show and Bryan had already happened. The contract signing ended early. So...then...the rest of the show was just going to be touts and a Big Show interview? Good night, folks! Within the context of the RAW schedule and story, nothing was supposed to happen to close out the show. Man, I just need one thing. One line. Something like “Ladies and Gentlemen, we were supposed to bring you a match between Kane and Sheamus but as you can see HBK is getting mauled by a star-bellied sneetch!” Just something to make it less obvious that RAW isn’t meticulously planned out to the minute. Especially since their whole in-show company line is that none of it’s planned. And that AJ can just tweet out bookings mid show.

Good job it wasn't Ziggler's arm that Brock was breaking or Ziggler would probably have cut the arm off to sell the injury.

That is an aspect of WWE that frustrates me. Go a step further; at the start of the show, the tag match wasn't even planned, since AJ booked that 20 minutes into the show.

There was the Raw once where Cena and HBK went over an hour in the ring, and it was a great match. But what was even better was that WWE had advertised other things (a match between Orton and Edge iirc) and had to cancel them. That made the fact the match was so long feel less scripted, as if it was genuinely two guys who wouldn't stop fighting.

It's convenient that everything fits in neatly to the allowed time. And I know we have to suspend our disbelief for that. But things like mentioned above really frustrate me sometimes...

That's about all that Dolph Ziggler is good for, in my opinion. They need to use him better I think. Also, I agree, that jumped out at me as well, what was the ending of the show to be otherwise? Man, I really hope they don't get rid of JTG. I'd like to see him back on T.V more.
