Hi, I want to join a cycling club and heard that there is one run from Phoenix Park called Park Wheelers. They don't have a website but i'm just wondering if anyone has joined this club or has any information on them before i enquire about joining? Are they any good?
    Thanks

They have a club on strava.

Some strong riders in that list, I'm surprised they don't have a website. They're probably very race-focussed judging by their members and the placings in various races.

They're more interested in the racing side of things. I was in contact with them last year.

Thanks both of you for your help. If there are very race focused i'm not sure this would be the club for me as i'm more into the getting fit aspect and just going out at the weekend for a long cycle. I cycle in and out to work every day but i have never competed in races. I might give them a shouta nd see what they say!

Thanks Keizer might check out blanch wheelies. I got the following reply from Park Wheelers so looks like a non runner for me:

All members of Park Wheelers would be competitive racing cyclists so as such we wouldn't cater for leisure or touring cyclists
I would recommend that you get in touch with Orwell or Lucan cycling club who run spins for all levels and abilities
    Best Regards & Happy Cycling

I've heard orwell is good so might go with them!
