    Hi Peeps

In my quest for a white Chrono I came across the Omega BA

Does anyone have any experience of either? do they wear big

    I have two in mind

One is the Standard BA - 42mm, €2.5K including 3 leather straps...

    ScreenShot2012-08-12at201556.png

    2nd is a Co-Axial, GMT - 44.5mm, €2.9K

The narrower a man’s mind, the broader his statements.

That standard BA all the way. The blue hands are sensational. Personally I think the GMT feature on a Chrono is too much.

the gmt face is too fussy. theres way too much going on on that watch. out of curiosity was the speedmaster moonwatch ever considered? its classy and elegant and is different to a seamaster. first world problems, eh? :D

    Hi Em

Considered one ok, but was looking for white/ silver dial

I did however see this, is this flying too far away from the Moon history ?

In the words of old Henry (paraphrased) ...you can have the Speedmaster in any colour as long as it's black. :D
(anything else looks just wrong, IMO)

I'd opt for the original BA if it's a white dial you're after.

I know I'm one of those vintage beardie weirdos when I saw the thread title and thought of this...

That's generally known as the Panda dial and is quite attractive/collectible to many. Tbh, the Broad Arrow is an automatic with date and sapphire crystal none of which is true to the moonwatch history. Personally, I have an Alaska Project which is a 40th anniversary issue (not reissue as the watch was never used) for what would have been a 1970s trip to the dark side of the moon. I can fully understand wanting to stick with with a black faced moon watch but then I'd stick with a Speedy Pro not an auto (whether co-ax or not).

All that being said, the Broad Arrow is more related to the original racing history of the watch (which they tried to renew with Schumacher) rather than the accidental NASA involvement. Of the two you have pictured, I'd personally avoid the additional complication of the GMT, then you have on beautiful watch!

Just my 0.02. If you want the looks get the blued arrow. If the movements matters get the coaxial. The coaxial a a way better movement and the service period is lass than half compared to the standard. I would go for the coaxial. Also the moonwatch is ugly in white... :D

I'd get the coax GMT. OK it may be a little messy but from what I can recall (and I may be corrected on this) the standard BA runs off the 3301/3303 movement with isn't the most reliable from what I've read in its euse with some of the Speedmasters.
