I don't know how much help this is going to be but I did mine through taxback.com, they have an office in St Stephens Green. The only reason I did it with these guys and not on my own was that it seemed virtually impossible to do if you were no longer living in the country that you were trying to claim tax back from.

These guys do charge fee's and interest etc etc but at the end of the day for me anyway it was either get some of the taxback or none at all.
