Laptop wont boot every time

    Strange one this. For the last few days my laptop hasnt been turning on first time. I press the power button, fan starts up then goes quite, no packard bell logo, no windows screen.

    It does this a few time before it actually turns on, but when then it works perfectly. Anyone any idea what it might be causing it?

    Could be a number of things but start with the most common solution first which is try re-seating the RAM.

    Just open the compartment below the laptop, take the RAM out and pop it back in again.

    Thanks duggy. Tried that and didnt fix the problem. However im now getting an error when i start it up. 0211: Keyboard error is the name. I googled it and ive got the exact same issues so this error is the problem.

    Keyboard and touch pad not working now. Any ideas Stuck using OCR now

    May have fixed it. I plugged in an external USB keyboard, and the laptop keyboard started working again. Ive restarted it twice now and it starts up first time both each time.

    Hopefully this works. Ive had hardware problems with this keyboard before and had to get it replaced
