    Thats the symbol for call forwarding alright, are you with 3 by any chance?

    certainly. call forwarding is off though on handset

    Im with 3 myself and it appears randomly the odd time, usually after restarting my phone. The way I get rid of it is by going into call forwarding in settings, you dont have to change anything in there, it seems to just refresh itself and the symbol disappears

    No idea, theres threads as far back as 2010 in the Three forum about the issue but seems nothing has been done about it, so going into settings to let it update itself seems to be the only way for now

    Dial ##002# into the iphone disables all call forwarding and gets rid of the symbol.
