I recently lost my job a month ago after working 3 months. Do anyone know if am entitled to holiday pay and how many weeks am i entitled to? I worked on bank holiday, public holiday and Sunday's,but i get same rate per hour. Have i been ripped off by my employer? I worked like 45 hours or more every week

Yes it seems you have been ripped off! If you worked on public holidays you should have been paid double or given a paid day off within the month or an extra day annual leave. As for Sunday working you are also entitled to premium pay.

You are also entitled to holiday pay. If you yearly holiday entitlement (as per your contract) was say 20 days, you are entitled to 1/12th for every calender month you worked at least 117 hours. so that's 20/12 x3months = 4.9 days due to you. (I think this is accurate)

Another way to calculate holiday pay is 8% of hours worked. Although this is usually method used for part time people. Example: 38 hours per week x12 weeks =456 x8% =36.48 hours due.

I would definitely get back onto your former employer if I was you.
