    Landlord want me to pay for walls painting ( refresh ) .
    It is that right ?

    If it is only normal wear and tear then the landlord would normally pay. Only if there was obvious marks on the wall that you caused, then you probably should. But as I say, to refresh or simply repaint due to normal wear and tear the landlord pays. Some may try to chance their arms however. I wouldn't pay for it if it was due to wear and tear.

    But is it normal wear and tear? Did you or yours make any marks on the walls?

    He may be difficult to talk to but he can't force the money out of your hand, unless you caused "distress" to the wall and maybe if your contract says you have to remedy the situation.

    yes - it is ONLY normal wear and tear . He just try to proof it is not .

    Do you have pictures from when you moved in? If not get snapping and keep good records.
