    Sat 3.00 Newmarket
I really like the look of highland colori in this race
I have been following this horse all year and he just keeps improving
Finished 5th last time 2 and a half lengths behind field of dreams.
Highland colori looked like he was going to win the race inside the final furlong until he tired close home.
But he was drawn on the softer side of the course and forced to run alone with one other.
This is we're I think he has excellent claims
The horse that he ran with couldn't stay with him and faded fairly quickly.
The other horse was van Ellis of mark johnstons yard
Who has won twice since, one a big field handicap and the other a listed race.
He's drawn in 1 but I'm not sure if that's good or bad at Newmarket if someone can tell me.
He's a very good front runner so if he can get out in front I dOnt think he will be caught

Hard to be definitive about the draw over 7f on the July course low numbers are on the near side as you look at it on Tv , furthest away from the stands . The siting of the stalls is the important piece if stalls on stand side high numbers will be on stand side rail if on the other side low will be on near side rail as you watch . Check out tonight's action for pointers

    Apologies for poor earlier post

    Still very confident on him
I think you won't get much better 9/2 shots than highland colori
He always just does enough too so if it comes down to a scrap he will have something in the tank.
And on his 3 wins this year he's drifted every time before the off I think.
    Get On

    Holy s##t
    Get in
Bout a furlong out I think highland colori nearly fell
Did he hit the horse in front and stumble
Hard to see on my phone
Hes worth more than that if he did stumble

Went for a gap that closed I think and had to be pulled back, Thought it was all over for him then but was a good ride.

He got hit in the head with the riders whip that was in front
Fair play to the horse for keep going

    Thanks for that
He's definitely worth backing again if he races
Showed real determination after being hit in the head with whip
He stopped and then ran on again.
That's surely worth a couple extra lengths and wasps only given 3 pounds

He stayed on well at the finish
But got shuffled back through the pack at a crucial time and took a while for gap to appear .
But when it did he finished well.
One to keep on your side
