Guys I need to get a set of rims resprayed. They are Fuchs deep dish style, polished on the outside and painted on the inside, I need them painted black the same colour as the car. Need to find somehewere that can do this for a good price - can I just get any bodyshop etc or should I get a specialist? I may also get them to repair a chip on the paintwork too.

Any recommendations in dublin - south east preferably?
    Thanks

If you're happy with powdercoating rather than painting, Wheel Wizards in Finglas have been getting good reviews for reasonable outlay: http://www.wheelwizards.ie/

You'd need to check if they can do mixed polished/painted wheels though.

Chap in behind the Solas factory / AXA office near Fitzpatricks Ford in Bray does wheel straightening / welding / painting.

Check 'suppliers' listing here - might be another few.:)

    Rattle can 'em.

The prep, masking, and spraying is very therapeutic. :D

Careful about powder coating, got a set done before and the paint layer is about 3mm thick, if scratched, a chunk of paint comes out and very hard to fix again, you almost need filler. I rattled canned my last set 2 years ago after a good sanding and if scratched, a simple clean and spray over. Never had a problem since. This was a matt black, maybe a shiney finish could be different.

My Dyane wheels are peeling away in chunks, might get them sandblasted and rattlecan them :)
