Does anyone know if Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe is anywhere near bus/train services / station? Would probably be going from Athenry. Can't quite recall where in Athenry the Station is either.... Probably nowhere near that handy Car-park before the Arch grrrrrr  Would have to fork out for bus or train ticket anyways I suppose or alternatively put the money into Petrol if I feicing drive meh..... So there's no incentive to avail of (possibly badly-located) train/bus services anyway!

both bus eireann and citylink dublin/galway services drop off right outside portiuncla hospital. you are looking at a 10/15 minute walk from the train station.

The train is close to the town centre in Athenry and there's heaps of parking there. The Station in Balinasloe however, is right at the edge of the North of the town and as the previous poster said, a good 10 min walk minimum.
