    Well guys,
Some of you may remember I bought the above laptop less than 12 months ago in Harvey normans as recommended here.

approx 4 times it has just shut down dead.
Fiddled with the battery and it always comes back fine until the next time, as said, this has only happened about 4 times in almost 12 months so it doesnt really bother me.
The second thing I noticed recently is if I have a few web pages open and am flicking over and back through them I often get one or more pages showing coloured squares. ( Yellow - Orange - Green squares) covering the whole screen, a refresh sorts this but I am wondering could the laptop be developing some graphics problem or possibly dodgy driver?

    Cheers

Have you tried another monitor ?

Use the VGA cable if you have it .

You reckon it is an issue with Chrome?

Either the chrome or the issues with the onboard graphics.

I only could base my knowledge on this article, never saw the issue you are experiencing before tbh .
