It's usually around mid-july is it not ?

I have a stone structure in garden infested with red ants several different nests I think They are all still there lifted a brick today no flyers just all eggs?
Must be the wet weather.?

The other side of the garden is black ant land.

I have noticed in past that they do their summer fly-off on same day.

Is there a difference in red ants and blacks ants.

Years ago There where only blacks ants around.

Huge hatch of them around here. 100's of Black Headed Gulls circling around snapping them up in mid air. A few Terns joining in.
