Tissue damage

    Hey,

Just looking for a bit of advice on the best treatment for tissue damage on my foot caused by a stilletto heel in town on Saturday night. Have had an xray to confirm no fracture but have a good bit of bruising from point of impact (right in between the toes) right up to my ankle (even though I didn't go over on it).

I have a Championship final on Sunday & the doc told me I should be fine but I was wondering what would be the best possible treatment to ensure I'll be fit for my match? I have been applying ice since as there is still swelling but I was wondering should I apply heat soon or leave it closer to the weekend & stick with the ice for the time being?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
