Hi there, I am starting a post graduate (H- Dip) in Sept and am totally clueless as to my eligibility for any grant assistance. Previously i completed a 2 year Bsc which was part-time and was in receipt of JSA from Jan-June of this year.

I re-entered employment in June on a four month contract which is due to expire around the same time as I start the post graduate course in September therefore will be unemployed for the duration of the course. I never received the BTEA at any stage and am 32 years old. I hope someone can clarify this for me??

I think you are probably not eligible for anything. You might be eligible for 2000 towards fees. You can apply for this at www.studentfinance.ie

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
