Witness on tenancy agreement

    Is it necessary to have a witness signature on a residential tenancy agreement?

    Does NOT having a witness void the contract in any way?

    Not usually; Ive not had anyone witness my signing of rental agreements in the past. I doubt it not being witnessed would have any negative consequences.
