A good stretch of the Erne at Belturbet will be the venue for the August Qualifying competition of the 2012/13 Kingspan National Pike Championships next Sunday. Interested anglers should check in the the Sevenhorseshoes Hotel in Belturbet from 9.30 for fishing 11 to 4.
This is a pretty good venue which produced some very good pike during a boat competition last year. Anglers should make sure that there is an angler from another club nearby to weigh pike.
