Anyone got any advice about getting an internship in TV production?

I've an undergrand in Visual Arts but have some experience with editing.

Have sent emails to HR departments, but alas no responses.

    Would work for free.

    Any advice?

Pick up the phone and call their offices.

Most production companies in Ireland are small and don't have HR departments as such but they get emails all the time from people looking for work.

Unless yours stood out a huge amount or you are fortunate in your timing then emails will not get noticed.

So call them. It's the best way.
