Just looking for recommendations for who will fit tyres bought on line in Cork or Limerick. Tyres are a 235/40/18 and a lot of places don't have the size or tyre I want on it.

Any idea on price as well?

I think I was quoted €150/corner for Falken 452s in that size from Express tyres in Ringaskiddy some time back, and quite a bit less for Federals from AutoMotif across from Harvey Norman. Those prices at the time compared well to the likes of Camskill, I didn't price premium stuff.

tyre place on forge hill. charged me 40e to remove tyres from steelies, remove old tyres from alloys, put tyres from steelies onto alloys and fit and balance them!

Cork/Limerick is a big area, you would need to be a bit more specific on where you are and willing to travel to.

Limerick Tyre Centre in Raheen, Limerick FWIW, they fitted tyres for me that I bought online.

Found them stupidly expensive the last time I went to them, it was obviouse they didn't want to fit tyres I didn't buy from them. I haven't gone back to them since.

Rang the tyre centre there in forge hill. Nice guy on the phone. Said he'd fit for E10 a corner including balancing. Also asked would I give him the chance to beat the online price or come close before I get them online, obviously have no problem with that. Very fair IMO and would prefer to give them the business instead of online if it doesn't cost me.

To be fair, I've bought some tyres off them since then so I went to get back 4 winter tyres fitted to my spare alloys they only charged me 20 for the lot.

Yep, the guys I use can source my tyres and fit/balance them for the same price as buying them from camskill. My problem at the time was trying to find a place who could get me the sizes I needed without having to mix brands.

I guess competition from across the road and since changed their minds.
