Interesting game this one, I think it will be tight but Mayo for me will have too much up front in Alan Dillon, Andy Moran and Enda Varley. Down will need a big game from Benny to have any chance.

Should be an even enough game. I haven't seen much to be frightened of from Down. I reckon they will fall away in the last 20 and lose by about 5.

IS Arsene Wenger coaching Mayo now?? Ive never seen so many attempts to walk the ball into a score. They better sot it out, theyve left about 7 points ( including maybe a goal) so far due to indecision and jsut losing their bottle.

They can't defend any worse, if they get the fookin ball up to coulter and laverty they could make it closer but the defending is so bad who knows.

Mayo have the easy side of the draw, shouldn't need to be great to make the final. They have a strong record against Dublin and Laois aren't great. Although Mayo are doing all they can in beating whats in front of them, wouldn't say they're being flattered or anything.

I have to agree, I was very surprised. There must have been something going on in the camp, the team was not motivated for this. I mean absolutely zero disrespect to Mayo here but Down must have been happy to draw Mayo, in fact every team on this side of the draw must have been happy to be the far side of Kildare, Kerry, Cork and Donegal. They had a real chance. There had to be some reasons for them putting their heads down.

Once again good show from Mayo favorites to make the final now.

As I said beforehand, everyone was severely under-rating Mayo. They dismantled Down significantly more easily than Donegal did. It'd have been one of the shocks of the summer for me had Down beat Mayo, particularly after the Ulster final, which was still only 13 days ago.

Don't think people were underrating mayo,most imo thought Down where better than they were.
