Any advice on closing a retail business would be appriciated, I have been in the retail sector since 1998 as a sole trader, due to a total collapse in sales in recent times I have no alternative but to close down. I need to know how to deal with this , I have a small overdraft that is to the limit,I owe suppliers €40 k and between Vat, income tax , prsi etc , I owe revenue €14k. I have €20k in stock including fixtures & fittings. Maybe this is not the right forum for this thread but I did'nt know where to post it.
