Lost C1 Entitlement.

I passed my car (B) test in the Uk back in 1985. I always had C1 on my licence and on a couple of occasions drove 7.5 tonne trucks.
I have just been asked to drive a cherry-picker as part of a work project which requires a C1, but I have since changed to an Irish Licence which does not show the C1. Is there anyway to get this entitlement back without passing a test?

When you exchanged your UK licence to an Irish one the C1 cat should have transferred to the Irish licence automatically,You could always try and get in touch with the DVLA and see if they can provide proof of you holding a cat C1 licence.
