To buck the inclination to only post when things go bad, this morning I did my 8km through the city without unclipping once.
BFD say the fixies, except :

    a) I can't track stand
    b) no lights were broken

This is only the second time in several years I've managed this, I attribute it to luck and light traffic.

Anyway, made me happy even if I did get jumped in a commuter race towards the end - to have won that as well would have been just too much.

Great to hear/read about a perfect commute. Actually, nice idea for a thread!

Mine wasn't so great but the traffic was very light and made it into work in a very good time.

After Leonard's corner was trying to keep up with a guy on a nice looking Ridley but he kept breaking lights just before they turned green, so got dropped at the big intersection at St. Patrick's.
