03 Passat Suspension

    Hey,

    just wondering, I recently purchased an 03 passat and have began to notice the standard suspension in it is horrible. I mean I could press down on the back with little force and the back of it just sinks.

    Is this what's to be expected from a passat or have I a problem on my hands?

    Sounds like the shocks are knackered. What mileage is on it?

    168000 miles. ara was kind of hoping someone wouldn't say that. don't exactly hae money in the pocket to replace them.
