my coop are always sending out different brands of fert each time and they can differ when it comes to spreading as some are bigger granules orsomething. got this brand - target today for the first time. in the past have had gouldings, ifi, grasslands, albestros and nitrofert. got ifi nitrate the last time for can and think its nearly the best of the lot. do ye have a preference or do ye ask for certain brands?

Historically I would consider Target not to be great brand. I usually stay away from it, but was landed with Target CAN last year and it was a bit lumpy. Could also be a dusty at times. However as far as I know they built a new facility in Waterford last year that was going to address all the issues, so possibly ok now.

ya i have seen one pallet was dusty alright but found it not too bad for lumps except the last pallet we got was like concrete could be more to do with the co-op storage id say

When come to fertilizers its better to go with organic ones. But only certain commercial brands are involved in the business so You may have to search a bit.The ingredients of organic fertilizers must be vegetable or animal matter.

How do these guys get in:eek:

He has a point about the "ingredients of organic fertilizers". They "must be vegetable or animal matter".

That is so true. You rarely get scrap metal and concrete in them anymore
