I'm doing my leaving cert next June and was planning on going to CIT in the September, what if I took a year off after my leaving cert and went to a country or something on a visa and the following year I would want to do my course in Eeng in CIT, would I get the grant?
I'm sure I meet the requirements for the grant, as my mom is own her own with me and my siblings.

    Any help would be great,
    Thanks.

It should be ok - based on this years rules but grants rules and laws always change so there are no guarantees

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

You should be eligible, you only have to prove you lived in the country for 3 of the 5 previous years
