Decided to buy this monitor because I got it for a fairly good price using a 20% discount code I found online but when I go on You Tube etc the screen isn't filled on either side? I find it wasteful this way and am wondering if it can be corrected? Screen resolution is 1920x1200

Most websites use a fixed width/not fluid so you'll see this. For popular sites like Youtube you may be able find a greasemonkey script which will expand the page. Web designers usually set a max width of in or around 940px,

For sites like that, go "2 up" aka have two windows side by side.

    As above ^^ 2UP.

What was the price BTW? I could do with one of these.

If you're going higher than 1080 its worth the money to go for a catleap(see thread in the B&U).

Maybe an over-simplified solution, but, open youtube in chrome and while holding the 'Ctrl' button on your keyboard roll the mouse wheel forward.

Ah I see, that explains a lot. My old screen was 7 years old and about 18" I think or maybe even less but It's a lot smaller than my new one, cheers.

Yeah I was messing around a while ago and its a better solution than filling the page with 1 screen/tab...Price I paid for the U2410 was €367+VAT so the total was €451...If you can claim the vat back then I think it's a pretty good price. I was looking at catleaps too but decided against it at the last minute.

Didn't bother buying one in the end as I got the dell for a fairly good price and I assumed the build quality would be better with a better support system if I ever have an issue with it.

Good thinking...never even though of that, cheers ;)
