    Hope someone can help.

got a windows mobile phone a while back. created a windows live account but can't remember the password (I know i should have recorded it somewhere).

Every time I go throught the on-line process for resetting the password, they send an email saying they cannot verify that I own the account.

Considering, I only accessed the account once, there is not much info I can give them.

Is there a phone number I can ring or some other way of talking to a human.

    Thanks in advance.

Set up another account if you haven't used the other one.

Maybe he has emails in that account?

So I would say he already has a different account for emails.
Considering, I only accessed the account once, there is not much info I can give them.

Wouldn't think it was used more than this or used for any other purpose than to start using Windows Live on the phone.
Easiest option is a new account, with the new account he can contact Microsoft help after logging in and maybe recover the old account. Too much hassle if the account has been only used once.

Here is the help page for the problem.
