eircom Exchange Upgrade - Rochestown?

Hi Just moved into new house, cannot get UPC....and eircom's line test is quoting 1.5M download - cannot tell you how annoyed I am. Only hope is that friendly eircom engineer says my exchange (Rochestown) is in line for upgrade and I should get fibre to the nearby distribution point (which is less than 1km from my house)…

Hi

Only hope is that friendly eircom engineer says my exchange (Rochestown) is in line for upgrade and I should get fibre to the nearby distribution point (which is less than 1km from my house) and I should get a speed increase.

Anyone know when this is meant to happen?
