Wondering has anyone had an experience with a specialized allez racer. Considering it for an entrt level road bike with a budget of around €700

I got a Specialized Allez last year for €750, have no complaints with it at all. Would recommend it for sure

I've had an allez elite for four years. Different handlebars, stem, headset, forks, wheels and groupset. Other than that, no issues!

Edit: Those changes were due to crashing, upgrade to standard double and wheels for racing. Lovely bike. Nice ride position.

Got one for my first bike nearly 2 yrs now. I just can't fault it.(allez 16) Would love to have an excuse to up grade it but can't find one. All i did was upgrade the wheels. once ya keep it cleaned regularly it will do you no wrong. I do regular club spins and a few sportives, now i'm thinking of doing a race by the end of the summer.

I have one with about four years.
Groupset, wheels, saddle, etc have been upgraded as they wore out. I see no great reason to change to carbon etc. Head bearings have been replaced twice - Cycleways best place for that as it is a bit specialised.

Any reason in particular for changing wheels? What did you switch from and too btw?

I got a turbo trainer so i wanted a spare back wheel with a training tyre to make things easier to change over. i use the old wheel on the trainer. I got a pair of shamno RS10's. good but also cheep..... (and look better than the stock wheels that came with the bike).
