Can you give us pictures of how its plumbed. It sounds like its sucking in air and tricking the flowswitch.

thanks joey for the reply,,,im not to sure if its air it is pulling in,,,if it was it wud mainly be on the hot side as it wud pull it from the air vent.now fair enof the hot in to the pump is take off the hot supply side via a tee and not a warrick flange or what ever u call them but i have the way it is done in many houses and it worked fine.it goes like this with the cold and the cold supply is taken direct from the tank,,,the pumpm is a positive head itself(no pressure vessel on it) which is correct......

    dirt???????????????????
