Mystery of the exploding beans can

Strange one, I was was opening a beans can the other day and it just exploded out as soon as I went to peel back the lid resulting in a not so nice splash of crap all over the kitchen (and me!). It was fairly loud bang and pressure out of it. See pictures attached. Most of the beans left in the can were just mush and there…

Bean Demon.

Pretty common in certain eastern European countries.

Some of them Latviolaks must have brought one over when they were coming here to steal our jobs and rob our gym equipment.

They were probably gone off and start to release gases.

If so you were lucky you didn't eat them or it would have been your arse that exploded.
