I think you may have given too much information.

    Cinema.

    Cinema.
Doesn't work for a first date though. And would be a far better idea if the date started before 8, so you could get to a cheap film in the eye for Ruby Tuesday.

If she's a galway girl, then buy a 4 pack of twirls and take a whirl along the promenade on a soft day like today.
You may wake up tomorrow alone.

I'd try borrow €50 from a friend and then take him/her to dinner somewhere nice but not super expensive.

Oh, and we have to be out of the house. We're way past first date! 15 years manacled together.

We have about a 2 hour window of baby sitting to have a bit of fun on the cheap (movie/prom/bowling/etc).

Best option at moment: air hockey!

Cinema so, you can get two tickets for €20, easy.

Drive our to Furbo, park up and snog. The rain means no walkers will be around to watch.

    You've been together 15 years?

    Just give her €20.

We ended up at Oslo for a quick pint before commencing to kick her arse at air hockey in SeaPoint. Ended up bumping in to some friends and spent our 2 hours having a chat instead. It's a rare enough occurrence being able to finish a thought yet alone an adult conversation so babysitter money well spent.
