Possibly Thick Android CPU Question

Hey Folks,

As far as I was concerned a Cortex Arm processor was the way to go, for compatibility reasons when talking about an Android tablet. I know the A10 CPU is used in some of the cheaper Chinese tablets and can have some issues with certain apps.

I've just heard of some tablets using an iMAPx210 CPU- and I have to confess I have no idea what that is. Can anyone enlighten me?

-edit- Just to clarify, its ancient and crap. Any Cortex-A chip beats it hands down.

I just realized whats wrong with this: There is no Cortex-A10 (Nobody actually said there was, but if you mention ARM and A then put a number after it...)
Some licensee of ARMs made a Cortex-A8 based SoC and called it the A10.

Which (presumably by accident) gets advertised as though its a newer chip than the Cortex-A9.
