Laptop won't start

    Hi folks,

I got a new laptop, samsung running windows 7.

Yesterday I set up microsoft office and some printer drivers.

I turned off the machine and it was installing updates 1 of 12.

That was about 7pm. Going to bed at 11pm it was still updating 1 of 12. That's fine I thought, let it run all night.

Got up this morning and it was still installing 1 of 12.

In my wisdom I knocked it off.

The problem now is it won't start at all! Help! No screen etc. When I press the power up bottom a flicker comes on the blue light and quickly dies again. The laptop is fully powered up and I have tried it with the cable in.

    Anyone any suggestions?

Take the battery out then hold down the power button for roughly ten seconds

Now attach the pwr adaptor and try switching it on again.

Aye give them a call,I'd just tell them it won't start, don't mention about updates or anything; shut it down last night now won't start...
