    Obviously drank a load of water pre-deadlift. Never take on a load of anything before deadlifting or it will be sitting on the floor in front of you when you're done. Found this out with chips.

    You don't actually vomit. All your core muscles literally squeeze it up your throat as you lift. Like a tube of toothpaste, no wretching.

    Now that you mention it, back in the days when I used to bring 2L of milk to the gym, I used to drink 1L during warm up and up to my main sets.
    As the weeks went on and the weights got heavier, less and less got drank beforehand for fear of hitting some poor bugger with a jet of milk mid set.
