Has anybody noticed that Postini is getting really aggressive in the last few days.
We are having tonnes of mail being blocked from clients that was getting through all along.
Nothing has changed on our end so just wondering has there been a definition update or similar

FYI It is a postini issue see below:
After reviewing the information you provided, we believe that you may be affected by a known issue on our end. Here are some details about the issue that may be affecting you:

    Description:
An update to our spam engines has resulted in a more aggressive scoring for domains that don't have SPF records configured. Since you have Inbound SPF filtering enabled, messages sent to you from domains that don't have SPF records configured, could be scored lower, and as a result be quarantined. An new update will be released shortly to reduce the aggressive scoring.

    How to diagnose:
You have Inbound SPF filtering configured at the Email Configuration organization. Select your Email Configuration Organization, click Inbound Servers tab and then the SPF link. You'll see the check box, ticked, indicating SPF filtering is enabled.

    Workaround:
Temporarily disabling SPF filtering will resolve the issue, but can increase the amount of spoofed spam received.

You can disable the global SPF filtering by selecting your Email Configuration Organization and navigating to the Inbound Server tab's SPF link. Unchecking the SPF checkbox will disable the SPF check and stop the false positives from occurring.

If this doesn't sound like your issue, please click the link below so that we can continue working with you to identify your issue:
