Just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to see a neurosurgeon consultant in the North if I am living in the Republic? Is it any cheaper etc.?

You can see one privately if you are referred by a GP. Generally private practice in NI is far less common and there are a lot fewer neurosurgeons. Not sure if your insurance would cover it btw.
In terms od the initial consultation fee I suspect it would be fairly similar.
