Leaky Rad in Peugeot 206

    Hi,

My 206 runs out of water every 2 or 3 days because of this connection. I can see it leaking out from here when I squeeze the tube. There is sylicone around the connection, I assume that the last owner put this here to try and seal the gap. Can anyone shed any light on it? Would I need to replace the tube, the rad or both?

    Thanks

Looks like you need a new rad. It would be best to try not drive it like this, as you could risk doing a lot more damage. Silicone is never good, will not hold up to the pressures / temps involved here.

You've a few options, new rad, reconditioned rad or one from a scrap yard. Probably best to price a new one and see what it comes in at, mightn't be too bad.
