Just thought I'd ask for an opion on here about this.

What do you guys (and gals) think is best for a bloke to wear out on the pull?

    Jeans, shoes, shirt
    Jeans, runners, shirt
    Jeans, runners, t-shirt
Jeans, runners, t-shirt with open shirt over it
    other (such as...)

Talking about for an informal pub/club here.

Not trying to sound condecending but how old are you?

If you look young some bouncers will use your clothes as a way not to let you in: "sorry pal not tonight, you are wearing runners" (this is also used to guage your reaction to see if they will let you in at all!)

If you are just 18 or look younger - i'd go shirt, jeans (good ones) and shoes!

If you are mid 20's - doesn't matter - as long as you are not wearing a tracksuit with the bottpoms tucked into the socks - you should be grand!

A Great aftershave will do more for you than a pair of runners, if your clean and smell good and makes the girls giggle they won't care if your wearing a potato sack. In fact if your wearing a potato sack they might see you as a challenge which could work in your favor.

Pick up a bottle of cartier roadster, if that doesn't help you pull nothing will.

I'm mid 20's. I tend to have an extreme look with a mohawk and goatee.

Bouncers don't care where I'm from, people usually get in in tracksuits and everything.

I already have one I'd call good, hugo boss energise, but I'll see if i can find that cartier roadster to see what I think of it.

In my experience people seem to judge by appearence before you get close enough for a smell to be noticed. Could just be my apperance.

Generally I go for jeans, runners, tshirt with open shirt over it(sleeves rolled up).
I'm a big guy (Not obease, just a wee bit overweight, but very tall) and getting a good fitting shirt is a bit of trouble, especially in the sleeve's, thus the rolled up sleeves.
