What does AMB mean (Audi)?

I saw an ad
http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/3659122 for an A3 with AMB in the title. Google tells me it is an engine code but the car in the ad is too new.

Did the Irish market get the run-outs or old stock?

Just curious.
Nicely specced up for a 1.6 though.

Wild guess but if it's not the engine code I'd say its spec or trim level, ambience or ambiente or something to that effect

My money is on it being the Ambiente trim level.

Just to confuse things - could also be AMB for ambition which is the sports model. If the alloys are 17" as a rule its ambition, if 16" its ambiente.
