    Does anybody collect these?

    I discovered a bag containing hundreds from when i collected them as a kid...some of them are from as far afield as Australia,Hong Kong,Malaysia and the US and quite a few date back to the 60's,70's and 80's.

    A few oddities in there too like matches with inch-long heads that burn for nearly a minute.

    I used to make any relative that was going on holidays bring me back a few local matchboxes and often hotels and restaurants had thier own matchbooks too as well as personalised ones from weddings etc.

    I even have one with a band managed by Louis Walsh from 1986 with his home phone number written on the side!
