    Hi all!

I'm wondering has anyone used this and what they thought of it?

I am very pale skinned naturally but the last few months i've been using Dove tan in the fair-medium shade and while I love the results.. I hate how sticky it is. It seems to take ages to dry in!

How have people gotten on with the Palmers one? I've looked up reviews and they seem to be pretty mixed. I would be interested to see what it's like on pasty Irish skin. Orange is certainly not a look i'm going for lol. :P

**OOOPS. Meant to post this in Beauty. Mods could you please move it? Apologies!!:o:o:o:o

It was so orange on me!! The colour came up quite strong even with one application and I deluded myself into thinking it was "golden" until a friend told me it was most definitely orange toned

I've bought it a couple of times (so not bad as I'm particularly cautious and fussy) and I thought the colour was perfect for me.

I have dark hair and my skin would tan well if I sunbathed, although I am very pale naturally.
I think it's hair colour that determines whether a certain shade will suit you or not.

After just one application it was if I had used a full-on self-tan (rather than a 'body lotion' one) - you definitely won't be slapping it on every day after a shower!
As an alternative to traditional self-tan you could save quite a bit of cash by using this instead (price, size of bottle etc).

It's meant to be v popular in Australia with the beach-babe types
    (like me :D).

The only fault I found was the smell - it's just a little bit too cocoa butter-y.
Aside from that the consistency is thick and (like all gradual/cream tans) takes a little while to absorb and a nice bit of rubbing in.

Overall (I was going to say 'on the whole' :D) I prefer mousse tans and wipes though.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but where in Ireland can you buy Palmer's products?

Boots has a pretty good selection of Palmers products in their larger stores. I love the lip butter and hand cream.

    Thanks for the response!

I am naturally quite dark haired but also very pale skinned. I'm not really looking for a full on tan look but more of a healthy glow if that makes sense! :)

I am pretty happy with Dove tan I have to say, but I am so over the smell and the sticky-ness, it really seems to take hours to full dry in!

I think i'l give Palmers ago but just use it sparingly! I've always liked the cocoa-y scent :D.
