    Hi Guys,

I would appreciate some feedback from anyone who has completed the IPASS Diploma. I have recently completed the certificate and would like to go on but I feel the brochure I received is a little vague. Thanks.

Hey , I've just started the first stage last week, How did you find stage one?

I'm finding it hard to get to fully understand all the different laws. I hope I will remember all the information.

Hi Rocko, I found stage one to be really easy. As you said the law is hard but its only 6 chapters I think. It eases you into payroll at a nice pace. Exams are not too bad providing you put in a few hours a week for study. Got 91% in stage one and 93% in stage two. Stage two is alot tougher and I had to take time off work just so I was prepared for those exams. If you need and help or have any questions ask away I would be more than happy to help if I can.

Starting the Diploma in two weeks and I have already received my first module. 100% HR!!!

    Hi

I have not opened any books yet

I am not starting for another two weeks so I am enjoying my last week of relaxation before I start studying again.

    Hey,

Well did you manage to get started on the new course??

I'm finding the OWT Act tricky, calculating the days and amounts owed! I hope I can get a handle on it soon. Have you any tips of this part?

    Hi there,

Starting this Sat 10 - 4 (long day). Not looking forward to it as course material I have received is pretty intense!!!

The OWT is not too bad.

From what I remember its really 3 areas to look at.

Hours worked in a year greater than 1365 than its full holiday entitlement

Hours greater than 117 a month is one twelfth of a year

If an employer applies the 8% rule then is 8% of the total hours worked for holidays. This is based on a minimum of 4 working weeks.

You could be asked to name 2 of these ways as a question in a exam paper. I think thats what I was asked but cannot find the exam paper.

If you need any help let me know.

    Thanks
