I'm not sure where else to ask this question....hopefully there are some truckers on this forum.

Does anybody here know of an Irish truck driver who regularly goes to Spain (or south west France) ? e.g collecting fruit, etc

A gentleman I know who lives in Spain wants me to send him some old Irish registration plates (he collect plates) and I was hoping I could locate an Irish truck driver going to Spain who would take them there for me (posting the plates via normal post would be too costly).

    Any ideas guys?

Hi there I am not a trucker myself but I know Creggan Transport used to go quite often in
the general direction your talking about with a cattle trailer. I have not got a number for
them but I would be sure a quick google search would get the number!!
    Hope this helps!!

Fish trucks regularly go to Spain.
They bring fish down and return with Fruit and Veg.
Are you far from a Port?

Did you price a courier/shipper? You can do it online with some companies once you know the weight and it'l give you an idea of the cost. It might be cheaper than you think.

Its very unlikely that you would get a truck driver to take a package for you unless he knew you personally. My neighbour does Spain all the time and says that its more than your jobs worth to be doing supposed favours like that for a stranger.
