    Hi all
Were contimplating weather to build a garage or get a garden shed.

Was hoping to start a pole on this but can't find the option on my phone.

It wouldn't be used for parking the car just storing garden equip and the general junk you accumulate.

Just wondering what your views and opinions are on either....

    Thanks

Sorry but this has nothing to do with the prices/costs forum and we dont really need a poll on whether you should build a shed or a garage. You need to decide that yourself. Thanks.

If you build a garage, don't put in a car, fill it with storage, is it not a shed??

I presume what you mean is that you are trying to decide whether to build or to buy a shed.

If you want to consider like for like you will need to provide a base for each. Unless you are talking about a timber (barna type) shed which is not going to last anywhere as long as the others.

A built garage (cavity wall, slate/tile roof, window and doors) is going to cost you more than a metal 'plonk on a slab' type shed.

It depends on your budget and what the shed will be used for.

What about a '' plonk on a slab'' Garage

Difference between "plonk on a slab" shed and garage = size of door.

Aahh jeysus, the poor fella couldn't decide between building a garage and buying a shed now you've given him more options... He won't sleep for a week ... :)

    Not always.

Here's one with double sliding doors, so if the car gets to sleep over you can open both, otherwise you just use one 1/2 of the sliders.
