    Hey everyone,

    Not sure if this is the right place to be posting this...

    I am from Wexford but I work and live in Dublin all week. My family, girlfriend and dog are all in Wexford. The problem is that I do not have any friends as such in Dublin so every evening I find myself at home alone watching a dvd or reading. I feel like I am wasting my life and I dread going back to the house.

    Can anybody suggest clubs that I could join or social groups? I am really friendly but just at a loss of what to do during the week. :(

    Hey there,

    PI is an advice forum for issues posters are experiencing in their personal life rather than for providing geographically specific social activities...

    Outside google/shop noticeboards/local classifieds/etc, you might want to have a browse/post in the relevant Regional Forum...they might even have a Beers meet or similar you could head along to.

    You could also try browsing the forums covering your interests and see if there are any regional groups/meets set up.
