Samsung TV - Subtitle problem

    Hi,

    I have recently bought a Samsung UE46ES5500.

    The issue I have is if I play a video file from a HDD that has embedded subtitles (as opposed to a seperate .srt file) using the "Smart" feature on the TV no subtitles appear and I cannot seem to turn on subtitles in the TV menu. If I play the same file on PC or on my TV using a multimedia player (WDTV) the subtitles appear and can be turned on/off.

    Anyone come across this before or have any ideas as to why it won't display subtitles from video files with embedded subtitles?

    Note - video files in .mkv and .avi format.
