Hey can anyone tell me if Bus Eireann tickets are cheaper if you buy it through their website? There's no mention of it on the website that I can see...

There's a 5% discount for buying online if you're route is supported.

You get a point for every 10c spent. When you redeem your points for tickets, one point = 1c. If you regularly purchase the same ticket, this means every 11th ticket is free.

Taking into account the initial 5% discount, if you use Bus Éireann enough to regularly redeem points on their website, it adds up to a total saving of about 13.5%

Do they only offer discount on particular types of routes? I'm traveling on the 100X to Dundalk/Drogheda.

Most commuter and IC routes are included but IIRC not anything which crosses the border or is operated by a third party.
