Hey I'm looking for auditions or roles preferably in the line of a voice actor for programmes like cartoons. I am good at evil or wacky voices for example evil villains in children's programmes and the like. If anyone can tell me a good place to start looking for these types of jobs I would be greatly appreciative!

Some friends of mine are 'resting' at present. They are different ages, guys and girls and I will pass this info on to them although they probably already know all about it. I just like to give them any support if I can. Is there an upper age limit, or lower age limit, and do you have to be a trained actor or can ordinary mortals get training for it. If you listen to the cartoons, it must be difficult to keep up the same voice all the time. Still, just think of the Simpsons, who would have thought in the beginning that it would be so successful.

First thing you need to do is prepare a showreel of your voice talents. Then get yourself an agent.

A couple of friends of mine are voice over artists. They have great voices and get alot of repeat business however it took them quite some time to get established.

Thank you, but I didn't misread the OP. I was just asking the question generally in the hope that some kind person who knew the answer might reply to me. Sorry, maybe I should have made that a bit clearer.
